Our Vision is to continuously promote excellence in Dental Health Care Education. Our goal is to provide an environment for continual renewal, self-renewal with a congenial social atmosphere and a progressive curriculum. We help foster a positive attitude for our profession, as a caring group displaying leadership in our community.

We are a society led by a committed volunteer group of dentists trying to provide current and quality continuing education to our membership.

President's Message

It is my pleasure and honor to return as President of the Edmonton and District Dental Society and continue to serve you, our EDDS members. We have a wonderful board with a common goal of making our organization stronger. You should know our commitment to providing excellent continuing education programs and encouraging a collegial environment at each of our events is unwavering.

During recent times, it is through the hard work of our executive that we have shown resiliency, innovation, and strength. We learned how to stay active in our professional development, even when in-person meetings needed to pivot to virtual formats. Our sponsors continued to provide us with support and we thank them for their confidence. Now we can look ahead to our future and know we are indeed fortunate to have the EDDS.

My mandate is to continue to give each of our members outstanding continuing education and professional development with a return to an in-person NWDE followed by our full-day programs-each providing access to some of dentistry’s finest key opinion leaders. I invite you to be active in the EDDS and look forward to seeing all of you at our events.
