Annual General Meeting 2024

Dear EDDS Members, 

We would like to announce our Annual General Meeting 2024 will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Mill Woods Golf Course at 6pm. 

You will have an opportunity to participate in an 18-hole game starting at 1:00 pm. (maximum of 28 golfers). $100 per player (Includes golf & a cart).  Members, life members, sponsors and guests are welcome.

Volunteering on our committee is a great way to give back to the dental community. As part of the EDDS executive you will have the opportunity to help plan and design future events and sessions. The best part is, EDDS directors receive *FREE* tuition for the following year. Contact us today to learn more about the available positions.

Buffet Dinner will be provided and AGM to follow.

All members who attend will receive a $50 credit towards next year's registration.

We are helping to facilitate the collection of old dental instruments for donation to U of A palaeontology students for use in their field work (the Paleo-Pik project). We will be accepting instrument donations at NWDE 2024 and appreciate any contributions big or small.

Paleo-Pik Project : To collect surplus, used and even broken dental hand instruments for use in the Dino Lab at the University of Alberta. Also there is a need for the following: instrument trays, sharpening stones and cloth/ fabric tools rolls for carrying instruments on field trips

When:  Please bring your instruments to the Dino Lab Booth ( Booth #: R12 ) that will be located on the Exhibitor Floor at the Northwest Dental Exposition on Friday September 13, 2024.  

Get your staff started now to collect those instruments that are no longer being used and bring them to the Exposition!
