Lecture Synopsis

This course is designed to help clinicians make molar endodontic treatment more predictable, efficient, and clinically manageable. Common barriers to success: particularly access, orifice location, and instrumentation will be addressed through a structured, step-by-step workflow.

Participants will develop a consistent and reproducible approach to achieving patency and glidepath formation in all canal systems, including calcified and anatomically complex canals, with a strong emphasis on clinical efficiency and predictability.

Recent advances in endodontic technology, materials, and instrumentation will be integrated into a practical workflow that can be immediately applied in daily practice.

The program combines self-paced online learning, lecture-based case discussion, and hands-on training using extracted teeth.

• Locate MB2 canals with greater confidence and consistency
• Establish and maintain patency and glidepath in complex canals
• Apply Reciproc Blue rotary instrumentation efficiently and safely

Biography

Dr. Hallen is a graduate of the UBC School of Dentistry (2002) and completed his Certificate in Advanced Endodontics at the University of Southern California. He maintains specialty endodontic practices in Maple Ridge, South Surrey, and North Surrey, British Columbia.

He is a founding member of the BC Endo Solutions Study Club, a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and a member of both the British Columbia Society of Endodontists and the American Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Hallen has lectured extensively across North America and is known for delivering highly practical, clinically relevant endodontic education focused on efficiency, predictability, and real-world application.
